Haisla Health Centre

Notice to Haisla Community Members

Thank you for taking the time to read Health Matters and for doing
your best to take care of yourself and your families.

We have not seen an increase in staff members who are ill with flu like
symptoms today. This is good news! We have implemented our
Emergency Plan just to make sure you and safe if the situation does not
improve.

I have attached some information on home isolation that will be useful
if your doctor or nursing hotline staff ask you to stay home and isolate
yourself and family for a period of time.

Haisla Health Centre staff are calling the elders – just to check on them
and offer our assistance if needed.

Kitamaat Village Council Administration building and the Haisla Health
Centre building will continue to remain open and we ask for your
support to keep our staff healthy. If you are not feeling well or have
been exposed to someone who is sick, please call us before you come
over. We will do our best to support you on the phone.
We are monitoring the situation on a daily basis and will keep you
informed by Community Newsletter, Haisla Web Site and Facebook.
